For Neurosurgery Residents
The Pakistan Society of Neurosurgeons (PSN) Equity Scholarship for Neurosurgery Residents will be bestowed upon deserving neurosurgery trainees from underprivileged areas of Pakistan who have limited access to academic resources and international neurosurgical exposure. The scholarship aims to promote fairness in academic opportunity and provide selected residents with meaningful participation in the national neurosurgical conference.
Selected recipients will receive comprehensive support to ensure full participation in the conference:
Complete access to all conference sessions and events
Three nights of free accommodation during the conference
Complimentary attendance at the conference gala dinner
Fixed travel grant amount determined by conference discretion
Tier 2 and Tier 3 training centers from underprivileged areas are hospitals outside major high-volume academic neurosurgical centers, located in resource-limited regions of Pakistan. These institutions include District Head Quarter Hospitals, Tehsil Head Quarter Hospitals, and Civil Hospitals in underprivileged areas. They serve as important training grounds for neurosurgery residents in communities with limited access to advanced neurosurgical facilities and academic resources.
